Semina is a Finnish hobby-horse brand and activity centre founded by Sonja Kallioinen, who has pursued the hobby since its early days and has more than 18 years of experience making hobby horses and accessories by hand. Based in Pohjois-Espoo, Kht Semina offers a welcoming setting for hobby-horse activities, with a large outdoor area, two stables, jumps, riding arenas, a cross-country course and nearby trails.
The brand’s handmade products include custom-order hobby horses, ready-made horses sold on selected sales days, and accessories. Its shop also offers fabrics, yarns, patterns and other supplies, with visits available during events or by appointment. Semina organizes camps, events, competitions, hobby-horse parties and coaching sessions, giving enthusiasts opportunities to learn, practise and meet others. Through its blog and social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, Sonja shares videos about crafting, tutorials, events and life at the stable. Semina brings together creativity, physical activity and community for hobby-horse enthusiasts.
