KH Uistin

KH Uistin is a Finnish fishing-tackle company founded in 2014, continuing more than 50 years of craftsmanship associated with master lure maker Kari Hirvo. Its KH/Kahir products have a history reaching back to the 20th century and are still made by hand in Seinäjoki, Finland, with an emphasis on quality and practical design shaped by anglers’ needs.

The range includes tackle for both summer and winter fishing, such as balance jigs, mormyshka jigs, ice-fishing rods, wobblers, spoon lures and related accessories. KH Uistin also offers supplies for making lures. Its products reflect decades of development and design, though not every model is kept in production; customers can contact the company to ask about availability.

For special orders, the company makes custom lure colours, including gift lures with personalised markings. These can be presented in wooden cases holding one to five wobblers, and oversized wobblers can also be made. KH Uistin sells through its own Kahir Kalastus online shop and selected fishing retailers.
