Kickass Gatherings is the wedding celebrancy service of Louise Gather, an award-winning Humanist celebrant based in Nottingham and working across the UK and internationally. Trained with Humanists UK in 2020, Louise has led ceremonies for couples with a wide range of personalities and preferences, creating relaxed, heartfelt and humorous celebrations that reflect their individual stories. Her service is designed for modern couples seeking a personalised, non-traditional alternative to a standard wedding ceremony.
The process is collaborative, from the initial enquiry and conversation through booking and planning, with each ceremony shaped around the couple’s wishes. Celebrations can take place in a wide variety of settings, including castles, beaches, fields, museums, country houses and woodlands, with flexibility around location and ceremony content. Inclusivity is central to the approach: Louise avoids assumptions about gender, sexuality, accessibility, wedding traditions and preferred language, helping couples create a judgement-free ceremony that feels authentic to them. Kickass Gatherings offers a creative, personal way to make the ceremony a memorable part of the wedding day.
