Kickboxing010

Kickboxing010 is a martial arts club based in Rotterdam-Zuid, focused on making combat sports accessible to people of different ages and backgrounds. The association offers group classes in Thai kickboxing, boxing, fitness conditioning and competition training. Sessions are open to boys and girls, combining the practice of fighting techniques with physical conditioning. Members use varied punches and kicks to develop strength and explosiveness while exercising.

In 2024, Kickboxing010 was named Rotterdam’s best sports provider at the Sport Award Rotterdam, an acknowledgment of its work to make kickboxing welcoming to everyone, from young people to adults. The club also participates in Vuist tegen discriminatie, a project that uses sport to encourage inclusion and challenge discrimination and prejudice. Its efforts include trainer education, welcoming new members and arranging introductory classes.

Children and young people may also be able to use Rotterdam’s Sport- en cultuurtegoed to help cover participation costs. Through its training and community initiatives, Kickboxing010 presents sport as a way to build fitness, learn skills and create a more open club environment.
