WAKO Europe

WAKO Europe is the European member and governing body of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO), an international federation with more than 120 affiliated countries across five continents. It supports the development and organization of amateur kickboxing throughout Europe, bringing together national federations and regional organizations under a shared sporting framework.

The federation provides information and resources on kickboxing disciplines, competition categories, equipment, results, athletes, and qualifications. It coordinates a calendar of championships and tournaments, including European Championships and youth events, and shares news about the sport and its community. WAKO Europe also offers education and clean-sport resources covering topics such as anti-doping, fair play, injury prevention, weight control, and athlete rights and responsibilities. Its anti-doping information includes guidance on therapeutic use exemptions, whereabouts requirements, and reporting concerns. Through its governance, committees, events, and educational initiatives, WAKO Europe helps member organizations and participants engage with amateur kickboxing across the region. It also publishes event details and updates for athletes, clubs, officials, and supporters.
