About KICVOP-Uganda
KICVOP is a registered organization based in Kazo, Uganda. Committed to community development, KICVOP aims to improve the lives of local community members through various projects. Their focus areas include education, healthcare, and HIV/AIDS initiatives.
At the community development center, locals have access to facilities such as a library, computer and sewing lessons, and tutoring in subjects like English, Math, and HIV/AIDS. With support from the Netherlands, Australia, and Israel, KICVOP has been able to gather resources like books, clothes, and shoes, which are used to launch the community library project and attract sponsors. Additionally, KICVOP runs a Family Pathway to Success program, supporting families over a 7-year period.
This program includes nutrition assistance, educational support for children, a library project, micro loans for starting businesses, and community engagement. By addressing issues like starvation, education, and self-sufficiency, KICVOP is working towards uplifting Uganda beyond its current status as a third world country. To contribute to their cause, you can donate funds, volunteer your time, or provide resources.
