Kid Friendly Things To Do is a family-focused website offering simple ideas for cooking, crafting, and playing together. Created by Melissa Haines, a mother of four, former elementary school teacher, and volunteer field editor at Taste of Home Cooking Magazine, the site is guided by a practical approach: keep things simple for busy families. Its recipe collection spans appetizers, breakfast, breads, main dishes, soups and salads, snacks, desserts, drinks, sides, and holiday meals.

Visitors can also find cooking tips and seasonal food ideas, including playful treats for birthdays and celebrations. The arts and crafts section features projects for children and families throughout the year, with ideas for holidays, school activities, and everyday creativity. For shared entertainment, the site offers games and activities for indoor and outdoor fun, including party games and seasonal challenges.

Featured examples include easy family recipes, themed snacks, craft tutorials, and printable game ideas. Kid Friendly Things To Do brings these resources together to help families find approachable ways to make food, create, and have fun
