Kids mit Handicaps

Kids mit Handicaps e. V. is a nonprofit association based in Billerbeck, Germany, supporting children and young people with disabilities, as well as their parents, siblings, friends, and acquaintances.

Founded in 2003 with integration as its guiding principle, the organization welcomes children with a range of needs, including developmental delays, sensory or coordination difficulties, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and physical disabilities. Its activities include organizing group programs and annual holiday trips that give participants opportunities to enjoy shared experiences, outings, and time together. Past trips have included visits to amusement parks, zoos, swimming facilities, and local attractions, as well as boat and carriage rides, group games, and social evenings.

The association’s holiday programs have received support from Aktion Mensch.
