Kidsafe Youth Programs CT LLC is a family-owned youth organization serving children in Shelton and surrounding Connecticut communities. Celebrating more than 30 years, the program offers affordable martial arts, self-defense, and safety-awareness classes for boys and girls ages 5–15, with sessions hosted through local Boys & Girls Clubs and the Soundview Family YMCA. Its approach combines practical instruction with broader goals such as self-esteem, respect, discipline, confidence, communication, teamwork, and personal growth.

Classes introduce warm-ups, stretching, balance, basic stances, blocks, punches, kicks, and combinations intended to help students respond to bullying and other safety concerns. Weekly safety flyers extend learning beyond class, while ongoing sessions reinforce familiar skills and add new instruction. Kidsafe emphasizes a fun, supportive environment and selects instructors for their ability to teach children. New and returning students may join through the fourth week of a session. Fall, winter, and spring sessions are available, typically running for 10 weeks, with a discount for families who pay in full. Parents may also pay weekly.
