Kids Ahoy Childcare provides flexible, family-centred care for children aged three months to 12 years in Dumfries and the surrounding area. With more than 25 years of experience, the organisation operates two nurseries offering distinct, nurturing environments. Kids Ahoy, located in central Dumfries, cares for babies and toddlers aged 0–3, helping them feel safe, settled and ready to explore. Land Ahoy, near Cargenbridge, is a purpose-built indoor and outdoor setting for children aged 3–5, with after-school care and holiday clubs for children aged 5–12.

Child-centred practice is central to the service, with outdoor learning and forest school opportunities supporting children’s exploration and development. The nurseries provide calm environments, highly trained and supported staff, and high staff-to-child ratios. Families are kept involved through open communication, daily updates and regular opportunities to participate in nursery life. Kids Ahoy Childcare aims to help every child feel valued, supported and happy while they learn and grow. The organisation also provides enrolment information, term dates, kit lists, menus and answers to frequently asked questions.
