Dr. Claire Cullen is a dedicated ophthalmologist based in Sandton, South Africa, specializing in pediatric eye conditions and adult strabismus. With a qualification as a specialist since 2010 and further training in advanced microsurgical techniques, Dr. Cullen has honed her expertise in areas such as non-penetrating glaucoma surgery and pediatric cataracts. Her passion for pediatric eye care is evident through her international fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the IWK Children’s Hospital in Canada.

Dr. Cullen's clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, catering to various eye issues including amblyopia, astigmatism, conjunctivitis, nystagmus, and more. She is actively involved in community outreach and education, conducting a dedicated pediatric eye clinic every Wednesday at Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital. As a member of both the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the South African Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology, Dr. Cullen is committed to providing excellent care and support for her patients and their families.
