Kidsfirst Kindergartens NZ

Kidsfirst Kindergartens is a proudly New Zealand-owned, not-for-profit kindergarten association with more than 110 years of experience in early childhood education. It operates around 64 centres across Canterbury, Central Otago and the West Coast, offering preschool-aged children welcoming indoor spaces and large outdoor environments in which to learn and play.

At Kidsfirst, fully qualified, registered teachers support each child to grow at their own pace and follow their interests. The kindergarten experience combines learning, discovery, confidence, friendship, encouragement and fun, while nurturing children’s development and helping them build connections with other tamariki, whānau and their communities. Kidsfirst presents kindergarten as more than preparation for school: it is a place where children can explore, make friends and enjoy new experiences, while whānau can connect with others and become part of the Kidsfirst family.
