Our organisation has a passion to help traumatised children in Nigeria. How we do that? We give trauma training to caregivers, pastors and teachers to build a trauma-sensitive environment in the orphanages, schools and churches. Participants who have sufficient talents and skills to develop in the field of trauma counseling, are admitted to the trauma network of the Kids in Crisis Foundation. Together with the staff of the KicF we carry out trauma programs for the children in orphanages and churches. The staff from the Kids in crisis Foundation consists of a psychologist, a play therapist and a number of trauma counselors.

About Kids in crisis Foundation
Kids in Crisis Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing trauma support and mental health services to children in need. Founded in 2014 by Claudy Regterschot, the foundation aims to create a safe and nurturing environment for traumatized children in Nigeria. They offer trauma training programs for caregivers and teachers, as well as implement trauma-sensitive approaches in communities such as schools and orphanages.
With a passion for making a difference, Kids in Crisis Foundation ensures that traumatized children are seen, heard, understood, and valued by trusted individuals. Their projects include providing emergency aid to children in Jebbu Miango, sponsoring traumatized children, and supplying sports and play materials to Nigerian children.
