Kids Out Fishing

KidsOutFishing is a community-focused organization based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, dedicated to helping children and families enjoy fishing and the outdoors. Its mission is to create more opportunities for kids, particularly underprivileged and at-risk children, to experience nature, learn useful skills, and make lasting memories with family and friends. The organization presents fishing as an accessible way to spend time outdoors and take a break from technology.

KidsOutFishing offers family-guided fishing trips, where volunteers help families visit suitable fishing spots, answer questions, and support them as they learn to fish. It also participates in children’s fishing derbies across Southern Ontario, combining outdoor recreation with fishing and conservation education. For families who want to learn at their own pace, the organization provides instructional videos covering fishing basics, along with information about local places to take children fishing. Its website also features events, partner information, a fishing map, and a shop. Through these programs and resources, KidsOutFishing aims to make fishing approachable and enjoyable for young people and their families.
