About kidspeech.com
Kaufman Children’s Center (KCC) is a pediatric therapy clinic in West Bloomfield, Michigan, focused on helping children with speech, language, sensory-motor, and autism-related challenges. Its programs include speech and language therapy for children up to age 10, occupational therapy to build independence for children up to age 10, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism up to age 7. The center also offers evaluations, intensive therapy visits, video consultations, courses, and professional seminars, along with family resources and educational materials.
KCC is led by owner and director Nancy R. Kaufman, a speech-language pathologist and recognized expert in childhood apraxia of speech. She established the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol (K-SLP), an approach designed to help children become effective vocal communicators, and continues to update its methods and materials. Families and professionals can access information, guidance, and learning opportunities through the center. KCC emphasizes a warm, inclusive environment, family education, and evidence-informed practice to support children’s progress and help them retain skills in everyday life.
