KIEFER

Kiefer, an esteemed antiquarian bookstore and auction house, was founded in 1979 by Peter Kiefer, driven by a passion for rare books. Over the years, Kiefer has grown significantly, now employing 16 staff and occupying a spacious 1800 square meters in Pforzheim, Germany. The brand specializes in a wide array of works, including antique prints, manuscripts, genealogical texts, and rare literature from both the 19th and 20th centuries.

Kiefer hosts five major book and art auctions annually, along with special events featuring unique collections, such as the auction of a southern German princely library or a remarkable sale of items from the Zum Heiligen Grab monastery. In addition to its physical presence, Kiefer actively participates in national and international antiquarian fairs and offers online bidding to reach a broader audience. Their commitment to quality and expert curation makes Kiefer a trusted destination for collectors and enthusiasts of antiquarian books and art.
