About Kielipankki – The Language Bank of Finland
Kielipankki is a comprehensive service for researchers and students who utilize language resources. It offers a wide selection of text and speech corpora that can be searched extensively. Users can explore and process the datasets in Kielipankki's virtual workspace using the platform's tools, or they can download the materials to their own machines.
Many of the datasets are accessible openly, while others require specific university credentials. The usage rights for protected datasets can be requested electronically. Kielipankki is free for researchers and students to use.
The services are provided by the national FIN-CLARIN consortium, formed by Finnish universities and research organizations, which is part of the international CLARIN ERIC research infrastructure.
