Kiipeilypalatsi

Kiipeilypalatsi is an indoor climbing gym in Turku, Finland, operated by Turun Kiipeilypalatsi Oy. It welcomes visitors who are new to climbing as well as those with experience, and no personal climbing equipment or advance booking is required for a visit. Climbers must bring a friend to act as their belayer; the gym provides a free introductory lesson at the start of the session, including instruction on belaying. There is no minimum age to climb, though minors need parental permission, and climbers under 14 must have an adult belayer.

The gym offers single-entry admission and a ten-climb pass, as well as equipment rentals, including harnesses, climbing shoes, and chalk. A student rate with rentals is available on weekday visits before 5 p.m. Kiipeilypalatsi also accommodates groups outside its regular opening hours. Its posted schedule lists afternoon and evening opening on selected weekdays, with hours varying by season and holidays, so visitors should check current details before travelling. The facility is located at Vesilinnantie 1 in Turku.
