Kiki’s Jamboree is a Durango, Colorado-based early childhood music and movement program serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers ages zero to five, alongside their parents or guardians. It offers eight-week, parent-and-child music classes on Saturday mornings at Durango Dance, with age-matched groups and placement support to accommodate children’s individual needs. Each 45-minute session combines singable songs, dancing, movement, interactive musical play, playful puppets, and opportunities to explore instruments.
Rooted in the Orff philosophy, the program aims to nurture a lifelong love of music and help children progress from imaginative musical play toward more structured learning. Activities are designed to support musical, social, and intellectual development while encouraging creativity and connection between children and their caregivers. Kiki’s Jamboree also highlights potential benefits such as language growth, memory, coordination, listening, sequencing, and confidence through group participation.
Sessions cost $239 for eight weeks, with a 50 percent sibling discount; drop-in lessons are available for $35 per child
