Kiku Mistu Thou

Centre Cultural Imaginari is a nonprofit cultural and social association founded in 1995 by multidisciplinary artist and humanist Kiku Mistu Thou. Based in Catalonia, Spain, it uses art, education and social engagement to encourage personal and collective awareness and contribute to a better world. Its work spans participatory artistic and pedagogical projects, including performances, poetry, public sculpture, theatre, land art, exhibitions and creative events.

The organisation also runs the Escola de l’Art de Viure, established in 2018 to share practices for conscious and creative living. Its offerings include meditation, mindfulness, creativity, emotional education and courses, workshops and retreats. Kiku Mistu developed the CIM method, combining creativity, imagination and mindfulness, as well as the SER LIBRE educational programme for adolescents.

Imaginari’s projects are shaped by imagination, participation, poetry and learning, and have appeared in festivals, museums, theatres and other cultural settings. The association also operates the Llar-Escola de Vida and collaborates with artists and professionals according to the needs of each project.
