KILAGERGAARD

Kilagergaard is an equestrian farm on the Kær Peninsula, a short distance from Sønderborg, Denmark. Set in peaceful surroundings, the farm has roots dating back to the 19th century. After a fire in the early 20th century, it was rebuilt, creating the farmhouse that stands today. Horses have long been an important part of life at Kilagergaard, and horse boarding remains a central part of its work. The farm was taken over in March 2020, and renovation plans are underway as its owners develop their vision for the property.

Kilagergaard offers 13 horse boxes across three smaller stables. Its approach emphasizes the well-being of horses, cooperation, and flexibility, with the aim of providing good conditions for both horses and riders. Riding facilities include an outdoor arena, an indoor riding hall, and a ring-riding gallows. These facilities are available to boarders, and riders from outside the farm may also rent them. Kilagergaard welcomes visitors interested in its boarding services and equestrian facilities.
