Kill Devil Diesel, located in Poplar Branch, NC, is a renowned brand specializing in remanufacturing and producing components for diesel truck engines. Founded in 2017 by Jared Alderson, who gained invaluable experience working in the monster truck industry alongside Dennis Anderson, Kill Devil Diesel has established itself as an industry powerhouse. With a team of 16 dedicated employees operating from a 7,500 square-foot shop, Kill Devil Diesel remanufactures 200 to 300 engines each year, enhancing their durability, speed, and capacity.
These improvements enable trucks to excel in tasks such as heavy weight pulling and high-speed racing, with power reaching up to 2,000 horsepower. In fact, Engine Builder Magazine recognized Kill Devil Diesel as the national builder of the year in 2019. The company's standout product is its custom-designed aluminum cylinder heads, offering superior durability, lighter weight, and improved airflow compared to traditional iron heads.
Notable customers, including diesel racing champion Charlie Keeter, have experienced the expertise of Kill Devil Diesel. With a wide range of engine parts and services available, Kill Devil Diesel caters to popular diesel engines like the Ford Powerstroke, Cummins, and Duramax. The company's reputation extends beyond North Carolina, as they ship engine parts worldwide and collaborate with over 300 dealers across the United States.
