KillNet Switch

KillNet Switch is a New Zealand cyber defence brand developing a unified platform for monitoring, detecting and investigating network threats. Based in Christchurch, the company serves homes, businesses and critical infrastructure with a combination of hardware, software and AI-assisted analysis.

Its Killnet Box is a compact cybersecurity appliance designed to sit between a router and a network. After a straightforward plug-in setup, it uses Suricata intrusion detection and prevention to inspect network traffic in real time, identify suspicious activity and block threats before they reach connected devices. The system is mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK framework and is designed to cover phones, computers and IoT devices without requiring agents on each one or changes to network architecture.

KillNet Switch’s platform brings network visibility, threat management, security analytics and threat intelligence together in one operating environment. Its KillNet AI system is being developed to streamline Suricata alerts, group related activity and provide clearer context for security teams.
