About Kim's Nurturing Nest Animal Sanctuary
Kim’s Nurturing Nest Animal Sanctuary, located in Danville, California, provides a safe landing and loving care for domestic and farm animals, including those that are neglected, injured, elderly, abandoned, or have special needs. The sanctuary offers medical treatment and rehabilitation, and respects each animal’s needs as they settle into care. Its work includes fostering animals such as cats, kittens, goats, and chickens until they can find permanent homes, as well as adoption support for animals ready to join a family.
A key service is the spay and neuter program, which includes care and socialization for kittens and cats, foster support, and trap-neuter-release efforts for feral cats. The sanctuary also partners with Joybound on Feral Fix events. Its Senior to Senior program connects cats aged seven and older with people aged 62 and older. Visitors can learn about animal care through educational content, arrange tours, volunteer, and follow live cameras featuring sanctuary animals. Donations help support its rescue, medical care, fostering, and community programs.
