KindercoachingMedemblik

Kindercoaching Medemblik is a child-coaching and hypnotherapy practice led by Jantien van Korlaar, a child coach, hypnotherapist, and pediatric nurse based in Medemblik, the Netherlands. The practice supports children facing difficulties at home, school, or in their development, including fears, behavioral or social-emotional challenges, developmental concerns, and school problems. Its solution-focused approach is tailored to each child and emphasizes personal strengths, talents, and practical skills.

Jantien begins with a free registration and telephone conversation to understand the concern and assess whether coaching is suitable. If another form of treatment is more appropriate, she helps families explore other options. Hypnotherapy is offered for issues such as abdominal or head pain, confidence, and emotional wellbeing, with recorded exercises children can practise. The practice also focuses on toilet-training difficulties, including daytime or nighttime problems with urine or bowel movements. Fees are listed on the website, and payment through a personal budget (PGB) is possible. Health insurers do not reimburse the costs.
