Kindercoach Jitske

Kindercoach Jitske is a child coaching practice founded by Jitske Arendz and based in Dronryp, the Netherlands. Drawing on her experience as a primary school teacher and 13 years running her coaching practice, Jitske supports children aged 6 to 14 and their parents. Her approach focuses on understanding each child’s needs and working together toward practical, positive change.

Families can seek help when a child feels insecure, anxious, angry, bullied, or finds it difficult to understand and express emotions. Coaching also addresses learning challenges, including reading difficulties and differences in how children think and process information. Sessions are solution-focused, and the website notes that around six sessions are often enough to help a child feel better.

Jitske also helps parents and schools understand children’s behavior, learning needs, and emotional responses, with the aim of building confidence, trust, and greater ease at home and school. The practice offers coaching sessions, an e-training, an e-book about holidays, and products through its webshop. Parents can contact Jitske directly to discuss support.
