Kindercoach Maaike

Kindercoach Maaike is a coaching practice in Zwolle supporting children aged 8 to 18 and their parents or caregivers when a child’s wellbeing needs extra attention. Founded by Maaike Jepma, the practice offers accessible, short-term guidance tailored to each child’s individual needs. Sessions use different forms of play and sensory engagement, including listening, observing and feeling, in a safe and welcoming environment.

Coaching can address challenges such as managing emotions, social situations, low self-esteem, behavioural concerns, learning difficulties, anxiety, stress, bullying, grief and changes at home. Families may also get in touch about other concerns. Maaike helps children build self-knowledge, confidence and resilience, offering practical tools where appropriate so they can feel more secure in themselves. Her approach is warm and thoughtful, with positivity, humour and a relaxed atmosphere at its heart.

Support can be requested by the child, parents or caregivers, or a primary or secondary school. Kindercoach Maaike is based at Tiendschuurstraat 71 in Zwolle and invites families to call for a complimentary introductory conversation.
