Notfallbegleiter is a German first-aid education brand focused on helping people respond confidently to medical emergencies involving children. Founded in 2012, it was created to make essential emergency guidance intuitive, practical and easy to understand. The brand is a project of akaMedica GmbH, an academy and medical publisher based in Münster, and was founded by Judith Forst, a specialist nurse, lecturer and author, and Jan Tareq Forst, a physician, lecturer and author.
Its central product is the Notfallbegleiter, a compact, color-organized emergency card book covering situations involving infants and toddlers, school-age children and teenagers, as well as adults, road traffic and police-related topics. Each card includes a QR code linking to a free, on-demand doctor-led explanatory video, with additional medical background information. The videos are available without registration.
