Kinderhospizdienst Kuckucksnest

Ambulanter Kinderhospizdienst Kuckucksnest e. V. is a nonprofit organization serving families in the Hochschwarzwald communities of the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald region.

Its ambulatory children’s and youth hospice service supports children and young people who are seriously or life-shorteningly ill, as well as their families. The organization also accompanies families when a parent has a life-shortening illness, and offers support to bereaved children, young people, and their family systems as they navigate grief. Its services are provided free of charge to affected families.

Through its work, Kuckucksnest aims to accompany families facing illness, farewell, and loss, and shares information and updates about its activities and events. The association is based in Titisee-Neustadt and provides a coordinator as a contact for enquiries. People can also support its work or get involved with the organization.
