Kinderpraktijk Open

Kinderpraktijk Open is a child coaching practice founded in 2022 by Hester Vedder in Culemborg, the Netherlands. Drawing on her experience in mainstream and special primary education, as a teacher, school trainer, behaviour specialist and internal support coordinator, Hester works with children, teenagers and parents to address questions about upbringing, behaviour and development. The practice offers accessible, short-term, solution-focused support tailored to each child’s needs, with an emphasis on positive approaches, recognising strengths and helping children feel more confident and emotionally settled.

Services include individual coaching and support for children facing difficult emotions or challenging periods, as well as help with social skills and emotional regulation. Parents can receive guidance on school-related concerns, educational needs and choosing between mainstream and specialist education. Other options include anxiety training, parent coaching, homework support and tutoring, classroom or small-group assistance, school observations, and participation in school meetings. Coaching for beginning teachers and career changers is also available.
