About Kindertransport
The Kindertransport Association (KTA) is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on connecting individuals involved in the Kindertransports—those who escaped to North America during the Holocaust—and their descendants. Our mission is to educate the public about this significant chapter in Holocaust history and advocate for contemporary child refugees in need. KTA offers a variety of services, including a quarterly journal titled Kinder-Link, educational resources for schools and museums, and a Speaker’s Bureau that provides knowledgeable speakers for community events.
We also organize reunions, social gatherings, and participate in prominent conferences that address historical and generational themes. As part of our outreach, we maintain the Oral History Project, preserving firsthand accounts of Kinder's experiences, while also raising funds for charitable organizations that support vulnerable children today. Through these initiatives, KTA fosters a sense of community, enabling members to share their stories, forge new friendships, and ensure that the lessons of the past resonate with future generations
