Kindred Connection

Kindred Connection Network, Inc. is a Rochester, New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings together perinatal professionals to help families find support throughout the parenting journey. It serves as a free directory and referral resource, connecting parents and caregivers with independently licensed or certified local providers; it is not a clinic or group practice, and each provider manages their own services, rates, and policies.

The network covers needs from family planning through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, with offerings that include perinatal mental health, psychiatry, physical therapy, pelvic floor care, speech and language services, infant feeding and lactation support, registered dietitians, doulas, birth education, wellness coaching, yoga therapy, and other specialist services. Families can browse the directory, explore groups and events, or seek help getting matched with appropriate support. Kindred Connection also welcomes perinatal professionals as affiliates, offering a community and greater visibility for their practices.

Its community initiative, Joan’s Closet, provides maternity, postpartum, and baby clothing at no cost, from preemie sizes through 24 months
