Kindred Motorworks is a California-based automotive company that reimagines classic cars for modern driving. Its approach preserves the distinctive character and nostalgia of vintage vehicles while updating performance, reliability, safety, and everyday usability. The company’s models include the electric Kindred EV Bronco and EV Bus, a gas-powered Bronco, and the electric Kindred EV 911. Depending on the vehicle, customers can choose gas or electric power, with each model designed to pair classic styling with a refined, modern driving experience.
Kindred says its team of more than 100 designers, engineers, and craftspeople spends over 10,000 hours prototyping, testing, and refining each model. Vehicles are handcrafted at the company’s 100,000-square-foot facility on Mare Island, California, using premium materials and a considered, minimalist design. The company also offers model discovery and configuration, vehicle inventory, tours, and customer support. Through its engineering process and detailed craftsmanship, Kindred aims to make classic-car ownership more dependable and accessible for drivers who want vintage character without the typical compromises of an older vehicle.
