Kinemastik is a dynamic cultural NGO based in Malta that offers a diverse range of programs and services throughout the year. They are known for their extensive program of film screenings, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, talks, and even short film production. One of the highlights is the Kinemastik International Short Film Festival, which has been running for 18 years.

This festival spans three days and takes place in the serene setting of The Garden of Rest, an intriguing deconsecrated cemetery overlooking the beautiful Marsamxett Harbour. Kinemastik actively collaborates with international filmmakers and festivals, bringing independent films to the local audience. Not only do they support local filmmakers by showcasing their work through local screenings, but they also provide opportunities for worldwide distribution of locally produced works.

With the support of the Arts Council Malta, Kinemastik continues to nurture and promote the artistic endeavors of filmmakers and cultural enthusiasts
