About Kinetica Museum
Kinetica Museum is a brand that curates national and international touring exhibitions, as well as produces the annual Kinetica Art Fair. With no fixed or permanent museum space, Kinetica focuses on creating truly kinetic and dynamic exhibitions in varied environments. The museum launched in 2006 at their old Spitalfields museum space and quickly established itself as one of London's premier artistic centers.
Kinetica Museum aims to provide an international platform for contemporary artists working in the realm of interdisciplinary new media art. They also recognize the strong historical lineage of kinetic art and the impact of significant works from the past. Their goal is to champion artistic innovation and showcase groundbreaking artists, appealing not just to regular art enthusiasts but also to a new generation of viewers who are fascinated by art that has a life of its own.
Over the years, Kinetica has promoted collaboration and cross-over between artists, scientists, technologists, engineers, and academics, advancing the development of this multi-disciplinary field. Their exhibitions, workshops, performances, and artist talks have received international recognition. Joining forces with galleries, museums, arts organizations, and curatorial groups worldwide, Kinetica Art Fair brings together artists focused on universal concepts and evolutionary processes through the convergence of kinetic, electronic, robotic, sound, light, time-based, and multi-disciplinary new media art, science, and technology.
Held annually in February at Ambika P3 in Marylebone, London, this art fair is a must-visit for art enthusiasts and those curious about the cutting edge of artistic expression
