Kingfishers Swimming Club

Kingfishers Swimming Club is a registered charity based at Scarborough Sports Village’s indoor pool in Scarborough, England. Run entirely by dedicated, experienced volunteers, the club teaches and coaches swimmers of all ages, supporting members from learning to swim through development and performance training. Its programme includes beginner and development squads, performance squads, and opportunities for masters and triathlon swimmers. Members can also take part in competitive swimming, open-water swimming, galas and open meets, with club events and results helping them follow their progress.

The club provides information for prospective and current members on joining, fees, training, its structure and expected standards. It also shares swimming guidance, competition news, event details, results and club records. Safeguarding and welfare are central to its approach: Kingfishers follows Swim England’s Wavepower guidance, the ASA Code of Ethics and its codes of conduct. As a charity, the club welcomes donations, including funds raised through online shopping, and puts money raised back into the club for the benefit of its members.
