Kingston Archery Club

Kingston Archers is a friendly, volunteer-run archery club serving Bradford on Avon and the surrounding area in Wiltshire. A member of Archery GB and its Ontarget Development Programme, the club welcomes women and men aged 10 and over, from beginners to experienced archers. Members take part in archery for recreation and competition, and some represent the Wilts and Dorset County Team. The club supports a range of bow styles, including longbow, barebow, Olympic recurve and compound.

For people curious about the sport, Kingston Archers offers taster sessions and beginners’ courses. Completing a beginners’ course qualifies participants to apply for full club membership. The club also provides information and support for experienced archers wishing to join. Because these activities are organised by volunteers, sessions are offered on limited dates. Proposed 2026 taster sessions are scheduled for March, April, July and August, with beginners’ courses planned for May and September. Dates may change, so interested participants are encouraged to contact the club for current details and enquiries about courses, tasters or membership.
