About Calgary Kinsmen
The Kinsmen Club of Calgary is a Canadian Non-profit Service Organization that has been dedicated to serving the community for over 100 years. Comprised of local clubs, district clubs, and a national foundation, the Kinsmen promote service, fellowship, positive values, and national pride. Established in 1924, the Kinsmen Club of Calgary has a rich history and has been actively involved in the community.
They are known for their largest fundraising event, the Kinsmen Wheels Lottery at the Calgary Stampede, which requires thousands of volunteer hours. Aside from fundraising, the Kinsmen provide service by raising money for the most needed projects within the community and volunteering their time for community projects directly. They have supported organizations such as Camp Horizon, Calgary Zoo, Canadian Cystic Fibrosis, and Alberta Children's Hospital, among others.
Fellowship is a vital aspect of the Kinsmen Club, with friendships strengthened through various events like BBQ's, fellowship nights, golf outings, and family events. The Kinsmen Club of Calgary is committed to serving the community's greatest needs and fostering lifelong friendships along the way
