Kinugawa Country Club is a historic golf club in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Opened on August 7, 1959, it was the prefecture’s third golf course and was designed by leading early-era professional golfer Torakichi Nakamura. Set amid the scenery of the Kinu River and the Nikko mountain range, the club offers an 18-hole, par-72 course divided into the Kinu and Otani nines. The course is designed to welcome golfers of different skill levels while providing varied challenges; its A-green back tees measure 6,574 yards, and the Kinu–Otani course rating is 71.6.
Golfers can explore course details, check availability, and make reservations online. The club also provides competition schedules and results, membership information, and services for both members and visitors, with advance user registration required. Beyond golf, guests can relax in the club’s natural hot spring bath, supplied by its own source, and enjoy a restaurant serving dishes made with fresh local ingredients. The club presents its scenic setting and amenities as part of a resort-style golf experience.
