Set in a post-apocalyptic world where elves have returned from the stars, the novel explores a dystopian future rooted in Celtic and Norse mythology. The story follows Aisling, a half-elven grad student navigating a magic-ravaged Earth, as she and her friends confront mutated beings and unravel the mysteries of their transformed world.
