KIRÁLYSPORT brings together sports facilities, football development and community activity in Szombathely, Hungary, under the name of goalkeeper Gábor Király. Its flagship venue, the KIRÁLY Sports Facility, occupies 45,000 square metres on the western side of the city and focuses primarily on football. The complex offers an UEFA-standard main pitch, a training pitch, three grass training areas, one concrete-surfaced pitch and two cinder pitches for hire.
The Király Gábor International Goalkeeper School, established in 2013, provides development opportunities for talented goalkeepers aged 10 to 21. It runs three-day residential camps during school holidays and weekly goalkeeper training in Szombathely. The school also has a partnership with Bayer Leverkusen.
The KIRÁLY Leisure Sports Association was founded in 2006 and promotes the enjoyment of movement, sport and hard work, with football at its core. It has nearly 100 registered footballers. The wider platform also shares news about the organisation’s activities and Gábor Király’s sporting career, including his 92 appearances for Hungary’s national team.
