Kirmesverein Meura e.V. is a community association dedicated to keeping the village’s Kirmes tradition alive. Since 1992, the club has brought residents and visitors together through celebrations that combine local customs, music, dancing, and good company. Its annual Kirmes is a welcoming gathering for people of all ages, whether they live in Meura or are visiting.
The association’s work extends beyond organizing its main festival. It promotes local traditions and community involvement, and its website shares information about upcoming dates, events, customs, and the club’s activities. Visitors can also find details about a tree sponsorship initiative, offering another way to support the community. Through its events and ongoing engagement, Kirmesverein Meura e.V. encourages people to participate, connect, and pass traditions on to future generations. The club presents itself as a place where togetherness matters as much as celebration, and invites everyone to join in when Meura comes together for Kirmes.
