Kissojen suojelu

Kissojen suojelu – Kisu ry is a Finnish animal welfare association dedicated to improving the welfare of cats in need. It operates in the Pirkanmaa, Uusimaa and Central Finland regions, helping vulnerable cats and finding new homes for cats without one. The association also promotes animal welfare and opposes the mistreatment and abuse of animals. Its work welcomes people who want to help cats, and Kisu emphasizes open, supportive participation alongside its animal care efforts.

People can support the association through monetary donations, supply donations and membership, or by volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include becoming a foster home for cats, helping with other activities and taking part in fundraising auctions. Kisu also invites supporters to become special cat sponsors. Through its online shop, the association offers merchandise and other items that help support its work. Kisu provides information for foster homes and shares details about its organization, board, rules and fundraising permit. Its activities combine practical support for cats in need with opportunities for the community to contribute.
