About KisumuChildrenTrust
Kisumu Children Trust is a UK-based charity dedicated to transforming the lives of Kenya's impoverished children through various initiatives. Established in 1995, the Cherry Brierley Children’s Home provides emergency care for vulnerable children and serves as a hub for community involvement. The charity supports over 100 sponsored children with food, education, and medical care, while also focusing on community development projects and advocacy efforts.
With a strong emphasis on education, Kisumu Children Trust prepares children for self-sufficiency by ensuring they receive primary education and progress to higher studies or vocational training. The charity's impact is evident in improved academic achievements and successful career outcomes for its beneficiaries. Through ongoing projects like building classrooms, providing clean water, and supporting underprivileged children, Kisumu Children Trust continues to make a significant difference in the lives of those they serve.
