Stadt Osnabrück

Kita Lüstringen is a municipal childcare centre operated by the City of Osnabrück, Germany. Its educational approach aims to accompany each child as an individual, with care that is safe, attentive and supportive of independence in an inspiring learning environment. The centre consists of two neighbouring buildings, a crèche and a kindergarten, set within a spacious outdoor area. The crèche uses a partially open approach in a protected setting, while the kindergarten follows an open-concept model while retaining stable home groups.

The centre provides care for children from six months to six years. Its groups include places for children aged three to six, with integrative care available, and crèche groups for children aged six months to three, where integrative care may be possible. Standard opening hours run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for kindergarten groups and until 2:30 p.m. for crèche groups. Extended morning and afternoon hours may be arranged when sufficient need is registered.
