Kitega Community Centre is an independent Christian organization located in Kawolo – Lugazi, Buikwe District, Uganda. Founded in 1999 by Reverend Canon Silas Musoke with the support of the Kingserve Trust in Scotland, the Centre serves as a beacon of hope for children with disabilities who were once rejected and marginalized. As an interdenominational institution, Kitega Community Centre is dedicated to creating an inclusive society that promotes independent living and attitudinal change towards people with disabilities.

Through their advocacy and support, they have empowered children with disabilities to receive education, care, and support, enabling them to lead independent lives. The Centre also employs an inclusive community development approach, involving community groups, local churches, and households to drive sustainable and community-owned development. With the vision of embracing all individuals as blessings to their families and communities, Kitega Community Centre continues to make a significant difference in the lives of those they serve.
