Starfish Animal Rescue is a volunteer-supported animal rescue organization that helps cats find safe, loving homes. Through its Kittenville foster network, the organization cares for rescued cats in private foster homes rather than operating a public facility for walk-in visits. Its listings introduce cats with varied ages and personalities, from affectionate adult companions to playful, curious kittens, and help prospective adopters understand each animal’s needs and character.

People interested in adopting begin by completing an online cat adoption application. Once an application is approved, Starfish Animal Rescue arranges an appointment to meet the cat. Adoption fees help cover essential care: the listed $175 fee includes spaying or neutering, a microchip, age-appropriate or required vaccinations, and other necessary medical treatment. Because the cats come from shelters, their breeds cannot always be confirmed; the organization emphasizes that they are rescued cats. Starfish Animal Rescue also shares updates, photos, and videos of cats in foster care through its Facebook presence, where visitors can learn more about the organization’s mission and volunteer opportunities.
