Kittyland Cat and Kitten Rescue is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving abandoned and neglected cats in the Coachella Valley. Based in Desert Hot Springs, California, the organization provides a safe sanctuary where cats and kittens receive compassionate care and a chance at a happier life. Its mission is to treat every animal with respect and love while seeking a suitable home for each cat; for senior, disabled, or unwanted cats, the sanctuary can be a place to live with dignity and peace.

Kittyland offers cat and kitten adoptions, with animals available to meet at PetSmart in Palm Springs or by appointment at its sanctuary. Community members can support its work through donations, grants, and fundraising, or volunteer in roles such as cleaning and maintaining cat areas, fostering young kittens, socializing fearful cats, helping with medical care, and handyman tasks. The organization also provides information through its website, newsletter, and donor portal. Kittyland’s work relies on community support to care for homeless cats and help them find loving homes.
