Kitty’s Critter Care is a Jefferson City, Missouri, pet-care business offering doggy daycare, pet sitting at its hotel, and home visits for pets who are more comfortable in familiar surroundings. Founded by Mackenzie “Kitty” Job, who has cared for animals for most of her life and professionally since 2015, the business serves dogs with a range of sizes, personalities, and needs, including special-needs dogs.
Daycare gives dogs more than 5,000 square feet to play, exercise, and build social skills in a safe, somewhat structured setting. Dogs are grouped according to size and personality, and owners can book regular or occasional attendance through weekly availability emails after a Tuesday meet-and-greet. Enrollment is currently limited to small dogs, and spaces may be limited. The facility is open weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., with full-day and half-day rates and discounts for frequent attendance or multiple dogs. Daycare requires specified vaccinations, spay or neuter status, and regular parasite prevention.
