Kivikaiverrus Aho

Kivikaiverrus Aho Erja provides engraving, restoration and renovation services for gravestones, memorials and plaques in Pori and nearby areas, including Ulvila, Luvia, Kullaa, Ahlainen, Pomarkku and Noormarkku. The business serves both private customers and stone workshops, and can arrange work farther afield by agreement.

Drawing on long experience and a family tradition of engraving dating back to 1948, Erja Aho combines careful craftsmanship with creative design. Services include adding or correcting inscriptions, renewing the layout of text on older memorials, and restoring the gilding on letters. The business also cleans darkened stones and straightens memorials that have shifted or sunk. Customers can also request the design and sale of new memorial stones, with engraving for new stones carried out in the workshop.

Most engraving and restoration work is completed on site, usually at the cemetery, so the stone does not need to be transported. Work in local cemeteries is generally available from April through October, and on-site jobs are typically completed the same day.
